TFC Bench plays a vital supporting role in advancing the mission of The Female Co by mobilising a dedicated network of male volunteers and creating culturally grounded opportunities for contribution, leadership, and healing.
Through every action, TFC Bench models allyship, leadership, and cultural integrity, demonstrating what it means for men to walk alongside women genuinely.
Who We Are
TFC Bench stands proudly as the fathers, brothers, uncles, and partners of The Female Co.
We are a collective of men who believe in showing up, standing strong, and backing the next generation of women and girls as they lead, rise, and thrive. Whether we are on the sidelines, behind the scenes, or out on Country preparing the way.
Our role is clear: To support, uplift, and create space for female-designed programs to flourish. We walk in respect, guided by culture, and grounded in the belief that empowered men, empower women, who empower communities together.
Mission
To provide holistic support for boys and men, particularly Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander males from regional and remote communities, empowering them to lead healthy, safe, and fulfilling lives while becoming allies and champions of women and girls in their families, communities, and across nations.
Vision
A future where boys and men are strong in identity, grounded in culture, and connected in purpose, whilst actively contributing to thriving communities and championing gender equality.
Values
Cultural Integrity: We draw upon First Nations practices and knowledge systems to support the empowerment of young boys and men. Respectful Allyship: We stand beside women and girls, promoting healthy masculinities, strong relationships, and unwavering support through action.
